1. What is media in teaching? How many teaching medya types do you know. Explain

Media in teaching are tools that are used to support the implementation of the teaching and learning process, from books to the use of electronic devices in class. Learning media serves to explain or visualize material that is difficult to understand if only using verbal speech.

Based on my understanding, the types of instructional media in teaching are as follows:

 media, for example, such as books, modules, magazines, pictures, posters, maps, photographs, 

 magazines, flat boards, worksheets, newspaper clippings, handouts.

Media Audio, for example, radio broadcasts, cd / dvd, podcasts, songs, music, mp3 files, telephones, language labs.

Audio Visual media, for example, such as film, television, videoInteractive Multimedia Games, android based applications etc.

E-Learning for example, such as Udemy, Codeacademy, Ruangguru, Zenius, Google Classroom, etc.

Media Realia for example, such as plants, rocks, trees, currency etc.

2. Why teacher needs media in teaching?

Media in teaching very interesting because some reason, A teacher in the era of technology certainly really needs media in teaching to attract students' attention to concentrate and focus more on the content of the subject matter,create student comfort when studying or reading. For example pictorial text.Media Make it easier for students to understand and remember information,Accommodate / help students who are weak and slow to accept lessons that are presented verbally or text.

Media also helps make it easier for teachers to explain complex material, the learning methods used can be more varied, Efficiency in the use of time and energy, Can more easily focus students' attention on the material being studied, Organize the classroom atmosphere to be more lively and interactive, Make students more active in class and not easy to feel bored in class as well The achievement of the objectives of teaching and learning activities effectively.

3. What are the criteria of good teaching media.

Learning media is one of the important components in carrying out the learning process to maximize the use of media in learning as a cause of organizational anxiety in communication. Of course it must meet the aspects and elements that can make the learning process more effective. Therefore, in its use, of course, the media must have several criteria which must then be met in order to integrate with the learning process.

 The criteria of good teaching media are:

3. Able to support learning content and materials

4. Easy to obtain media

7. Suitability of Learning Media with Students' Thinking

Of course, the effective use of media in the learning process will be able to maximize and optimize learning outcomes. Thus, it can be said that the media is able to meet the criteria as an appropriate learning media.

4. Do you think that the teaching media needs to be developed? why

I think the importance of media development in teaching. The development of instructional media is a series of processes or activities carried out to produce a learning media based on existing development theories. The media in question is learning media so that the development theory used is the theory of learning development. The reason why learning media must be developed is because media has many benefits for teachers and students in learning. Teaching cannot be separated from the media, therefore the importance of understanding and developing media in learning.
